Bristol in the west of England is to get another route to Athens. Aegean Airlines, the Greek national carrier, is to start operating from Bristol Airport route in competition with UK low-cost carrier easyJet. “This is an incredibly exciting milestone, adding Aegean Airlines to the Bristol airport airline family,” said chief executive Dave Lees, who described Aegean as “a major global airline”.
