Maldivian Airlines is all set to receive two new ATR 72-600 aircraft, the aircraft departed from Toulouse Blagnac in France bound for Velana International Airport, Maldives. The airline had placed an order for three ATR72-600 and its shorter variant, the ATR 42-600 in January 2022. Initially the aircraft were to be delivered in October 2022, but got delayed due to manufacturing and supply chain issues. The remaining aircraft are expected to be delivered later this year. According to sources, the airline also plans to add another three ATRs towards the end of 2023, adding the total of ATR fleet to six. The
