Lufthansa said on December 14 it would add five new summer routes from Frankfurt and two from Munich. Belfast, Biarritz, London-Gatwick and Skopje are to get flights from Frankfurt, as will Asturias, which along with Bordeaux is to be connected to Munich by the German carrier. The additions, along with restarting flights to Osaka and Mexico City, mean Lufthansa will be flying to over 5,200 destinations worldwide, with the new Belfast and Gatwick flights taking it to 11 locations in the UK.
