Liverpool John Lennon Airport has announced that Aer Lingus is returning after a seven year absence, with flights to Dublin to start on April 27. The route will be operated by Emerald Airlines, Aer Lingus’ regional carrier. There are to be 11 departures a week, including two a day on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The airport said that the Dublin connection will give passengers “the ability to seamlessly connect onto Aer Lingus flights to North America”, via with onward routes available including New York JFK, Washington, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia”, with the further attraction of Dublin Airport offering US
