Lion Air announced today that it will order 27 additional ATR aircraft tomorrow. The airline has 30 ATR 72-500 turbo props already on order for its unit Wings Air, which acts as a feeder to Lion Air’s network. Lion Air has also placed an order with US-based Hawker Beechcraft Corp. for two Hawker 900XP midsized business jets, with options for two additional aircraft.
