Korean Air is to convert its economy class check-in counters to bag-drop counters at local airports starting 1 September. It’s a bid by the airport, which has seen rising demand for travel, to provide faster and more convenient baggage check-in service to its passengers. All economy class passengers will be requested to check-in on Korean Air’s mobile app or website or through kiosks at airports.
