Jet Airways has announced it is hoping to agree an alliance with South Africa Airways soon. The deal, which is pending regulatory approval, means the two airlines will be able to sell each other’s fare between Mumbai and Johannesburg as well as on domestic connection routes to Cape Town and other cities. Jet Airways only launched the Mumbai to Johannesburg route in April. “The code-share with the South African carrier would help us get more passengers,” a Jet Airways official said in a statement.
