Japan Airlines takes delivery of first A350-1000

Japan Airlines (JAL) has taken delivery of its first A350-1000 from Airbus’ delivery centre in Toulouse, France, set to initially serve the international Tokyo Haneda to New York JFK route. JAL has ordered 31 A350 aircraft so far (comprising 13 A350-1000s and 18 A350-900s), the latter of which has been operating in high-density Japanese domestic routes since 2019.
