Airbus and Boeing’s January aircraft deliveries showed a slow start to the first quarter, Bloomberg Intelligence found in an analysis report. Airbus in particular will need to double its monthly rate of A320 deliveries to meet consensus whereas Boeing targets are more reasonable. However, FAA inspections and potential adjustments could impact whether Boeing’s targets are met. Airbus delivered the most aircraft in January at 30, down from December’s 112 aircraft. 26 of the 30 aircraft delivered were A320s.
