IAG secures Air Europa price reduction

Spanish media are reported that IAG has succeeded in lowering the acquisition price of Spanish airline Air Europa to between €300-400million. IAG has not confirmed the reports. The purchase price will be paid, say reports, in IAG shares. When the deal was first announced over a year ago, the published purchase price was €1bn deal for the low-cost carrier, however the coronavirus pandemic promoted a renegotiation.
