Swiss carrier Helvetic Airways is widening its management team by appointing Nicolas Bachmann as chief operations officer flight operations, with former COO Simon Schatzmann moving to business development and René Mamet, the maintenance chief operations officer, joining a trio to be headed by chief executive Tobias Pogoreve. “I am convinced that Nicolas Bachmann and René Mamet will be instrumental in helping us promptly identify and effectively meet and master the challenges we have ahead,” said Pogorevc.
