Hawaiian Airlines October traffic up 1.5%

Hawaiian Airlines carried 822,281 passengers during the month of October, 1.5% more than the same period last year. Revenue Passenger Miles were up 4.7% to 1,167,578, while Available Seat Miles rose 5.3% to 1,408,750. Load factor was 82.9%, dipping only slightly by 0.4%. For the 12 months to end October 2013, Hawaiian carried 8,350,493 passengers, 6% more than the same period last year. RPMs were up 14% to 11,462,396, with ASMs up 16.5% to 14,005,514. Overall load factor dropped by 1.8 percentage points to 81.8%
