Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has launched its first direct flight between Dammam and Al Najaf in Iraq from June 1, 2024; the first Saudi carrier to connect the two cities. It comes after the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) approved national carriers to operate flights to and from Al Najaf. The new route is part of flynas’ strategic expansion of its domestic and international network. It aims to accommodate 330 million passengers, and host 100 million tourists yearly by 2030. flynas operates a fleet of 64 Airbus aircraft, consisting of 47 A320neos, 13 A320ceos, and four A330s. It
