As the post-pandemic travel demand continues to soar around the globe, Fiji Airways has indicated that it expects to make a full recovery by the end of this year. Speaking on the strong passenger recovery, John Checketts, the airline’s executive manager for strategy, networks, and alliances, said: “The carrier’s capacity from Fiji to Australia and North America is at around 120% of pre-pandemic levels. Capacity on New Zealand routes should reach 100% by the end of the year.” Fiji Airways claims that demands from destinations like Australia and the United States had been strong despite ticket prices being above pre-pandemic
