African low-cost carrier fastjet is aiming to begin international flights from Dar es Salaam to Johannesburg from October 18. The carrier had hoped to begin in September but was plagued by regulatory delays from South African authorities. Airline CEO and interim Chairman Ed Winter said: “The South African Department of Transport has completed its review of the additional documents it requested and has issued an updated Foreign Operator Permit.
