EL Al is planning to add two extra weekly flights connecting Tel Aviv-Tokyo between October and November this year. The additional flights will bring the total number of flights to thrice weekly. The additional flights will begin on October 29 and continue till November 14, post which the airline will revert to its twice-weekly schedule till December 1. After December the route will be temporarily suspended for winter. The airline will resume Tokyo flights again from March 5 on the thrice weekly schedule with increased capacity. The airline plans to deploy its B787-9 Dreamliner on the route.
