easyJet has agreed with Airbus the deferral of 22 aircraft in total that were due for delivery in 2022, 2023 and 2024 to 2024, 2027, and 2028. In addition, there will be movement of 15 delivery dates within the period FY2022-FY2024 to more closely match forecast seasonal requirements, the airline has announced. easyJet reiterated the deep discounts the airline received under the terms of the original 2013 Airbus agreement remain unchanged. The airline does stress however price escalation mechanism within the 2013 agreement that reflects market inflation in labour and material costs, which will therefore increase the future aggregate cash
