Airports of Thailand has reported a 13.95% decline in passengers passing through Suvarnabhumi  Airport. The airport served 4,047,286 passengers in the third month compared to 4,703,585 last year. Prolonged political instability in Bangkok has contributed to the fall. Suvarnabhumi Airport registered a decline of 0.84% in international aircraft movements from 19,425 to 19,262, while domestic movements increased 10.14% from 5,298 to 5,835 movements. International passenger traffic dropped 15.53% from 3,894,194 to 3,289,468, while domestic passengers declined 6.37% from 809,391 to 757,818. Overall the decline was 13.95%.
