Four US carriers – Delta Air Lines, American Airlines Group, Hawaiian Holdings and United Continental Holdings – have won tentative approval to launch daytime US flights to Tokyo’s Haneda airport. The airlines could start flights as soon as the Autumn. Previously US carriers could only leave and land in Haneda at late hours in the night. A final decision will be issued after a public comment period and service must begin within 90 days after the decision.
