Conviasa launched its regular flights between Caracas and Damascus, marking its return to the Syria almost after a decade. “Following the instructions of our president Nicolás Maduro, promoting the expansion of our airline Conviasa, today we reached international connection number 12 with the Caracas – Damascus route,” said Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán, Minister of the People’s Power for Transport and President, Conviasa. The flight between Caracas and Damascus will make a stopover in Tehran, Iran, and operate every 15 days, following the current schedule with the Iranian capital.
