CHOLERA CONFIRMED ONBOARD AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT

A passenger onboard an American Airlines flight from Dominican Republic to Miami on Thanksgiving night was confirmed as having a suspected case of cholera. A confirmed diagnosis has not yet been received. The airline sated that the unnamed passenger developed symptoms similar to those of cholera mid-flight otherwise he would not have been allowed to board. A doctor on board the flight was able to help him. All passengers from Haiti and Dominican Republic are being screened.
