China receives first 787 delivery since 2019

Boeing has delivered a 787 Dreamliner to Juneyao Airlines on December 21. It is the first time a 787 Dreamliner has been delivered to a Chinese airline since 2019. A 787 delivery in China had occurred in 2021 for a private customer. The delivery marks a turn in China that may signify the country soon permitting the resumption of 737 MAX shipments. Flight data indicated a 787-9 departed from Boeing’s factory in Washington to Juneyao Airlines in Shanghai.
