China Airlines reported record profits in the third quarter thanks to an increase in cargo shipments and increased travel across the Taiwan Strait. The Taiwanese airline’s net income was NT$3.76 billion ($123 million) in the three months to September 30, compared with a loss of NT$2.62 billion in 2009.
