British Airways has confirmed that it plans to make more than 10,000 employees redundant. The 10,000 figure breaks down into 6000 voluntary and 4000 compulsory redundancies as the UK flag carrier looks to resize its business in response to COVID 19. British Airways parent, IAG, announced in April it was looking to lay-off 12,000 BA workers.
