Brazilian airline Azul’s passenger traffic increased 21.3% in January 2023 compared to the same month in 2022. The carrier, which said it is the country’s biggest measured by departures and number of cities served, recorded a capacity increase of 23.5% and a load factor of 82.3% for the first month of 2023. “We look forward to continuing this trend as we deliver an industry leading customer experience and a world-class operation that was the most on-time in the world in 2022,” says John Rodgerson, the carrier’s chief executive.
