Azul denied winter slots at London Heathrow

Azul Linhas Aéreas was denied the slots at London Heathrow Airport, according to a report by Airport Coordination Limited (ACL). The airline had applied for around 308 slots for the Winter 2023 season, from October 29 to March 30, 2024, but was granted none. LATAM has also requested for 308 slots and got 220 slots for Lima-Peru route. Eyeing international expansion, Azul recently launched flights to Paris-Orly using its Airbus A350s, and was attempting to expand to the United Kingdom.
