Avianca has ramped its capacity between Colombia and Spain by increasing number of seats by 50% as a part of airline’s effort to increase its market share. From June 12, the airline will go from operating 42 flights per week between Bogota El Dorado International (BOG) and Madrid Barajas (MAD) to 46 weekly flights. The airline will also increase its capacity also on Bogota to Barcelona El Prat International (BCN) route from 14 to 28 weekly flights, leading to a total increase of 21,000 seats.
