Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR) revenue increased by 18.9% year-on-year to Ps (Peseta) 6.4bn (US$ 360 million) in the first quarter of 2023 (Q1 2023) Earnings (EBIDTA) were up 23.2% over the period to Ps 4.5bn, leaving the Mexico-based carrier with a cash position of PS 15.1bn at the end of the quarter for a net debt to earnings ratio of negative 0.1x, while net income climbed by just over 10% to Ps 2.6bn. Mexico remained the commercial focus for the carrier, accounting for around Ps 4.7bn of the reported revenue, with the remainder derived from Colombia and Puerto Rico.
