Argentina’s Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) issued a decree on Monday banning ticket sales for commercial flights to, from or within the country until  September 1 due to COVID 19. Argentina closed its borders to non-residents in March, imposing tough quarantine measures, including a flight ban which was due to expire in May. However, the domestic regulators have now extended this to September 1. ANAC said airlines should not be allowed to sell tickets for flights that may not go ahead in the next four months.
