It’s being reported that American Airlines is set to reinstate the Boeing 737 Max jet in November. American, the second biggest operator of the 737 Max in the US, has reportedly scheduled an additional 170 flights across eight different routes throughout November and December. The routes will be domestic flights across the US beginning 3 November. It’s a gamble for American, even with the news that Boeing has conducted 500 test flights, with rival airlines such as Southwest removing the aircraft from its schedule until 2020.
