AirAsia has announced it will establish its fourth Australian hub in Darwin. The Indonesian airline’s president director Dharmadi announced daily flights would begin from December 23 between Darwin and Denpasar in Bali. The route will be serviced on a trial period of six months but Dharmadi is confident of its success. AirAsia will become only the second airline to fly the route, which is currently serviced by JetStar. AirAsia other Australian hubs are Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast.
