Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Christopher Luxon has stated that he plans to double passenger and revenue growth through expansion in the Pacific Rim region as well as increased demand from the US. “I essentially want 5 percent to 7 percent more people flying on Air New Zealand services, which will drive our revenue number up,” he said in a recent interview. He expects revenue growth to reach 5% in the 2015 fiscal year, up from 3% in the year through June 2013 with plans for growth rates of as much as 7% over the next five years.
