Air Italy has launched direct flights from Toronto, Canada to Milan, operated six times a week. The route will utilise Airbus A33-200 aircraft and fly seasonally until October 25 to Milan Malpensa, Italy’s commercial hub. Air Italy chief operating officer Rossen Dimitrov said: “Toronto and Milan are also twin cities and these cosmopolitan and multicultural cities are both important centers for trade and investment, as well as being major cultural centres. Clearly therefore, we expect a high volume of business and leisure trade in the fashion, food and culture sectors thanks to our new Toronto-Milan service in both directions.”
