The board of Air France-KLM is meeting next week to make a final decision on an order for 100 long-haul aircraft. The order has been predicted by French newspaper La Tribune to be split between Airbus A350 aircraft and Boeing 787 aircraft. It also said that 50 aircraft will be firm orders, with 50 options. A final announcement is due by September. However, the airline group had wanted to announce an order during the Paris air show in June when the French premier stepped in to question Air France’s decision to order Boeing as well as Airbus aircraft. https://www.aviationnews-online.com/airline/sacre-bleu-protectionist-french-government-was-to-make-sure-air-france-is-looking-after-french-jobs/
