Air France-KLM remains interested in TAP

Air France-KLM continues to weigh up a bid for flag carrier TAP Air Portugal, the group’s chief executive said during a February 17 press conference. Benjamin Smith repeated the group’s interest in the Portuguese carrier, which was first mooted in late 2022, while discussing the group’s strong 2022 revenue and earnings, saying TAP’s routes covering Brazil are “extremely powerful for us.”
