Globalia airline Air Europa on December 12 announced a codeshare agreement with the Brazilian airline Azul, which it said would “facilitate the connectivity of its passengers from the international airports of Sao Paulo and Salvador de Bahía to nine other Brazilian cities.”. Air Europa’s code is to appear on these domestic Brazilian flights operated by Azul, whose code is in turn appear on Air Europa’s Madrid-Lisbon route. Estelle Leray, Air Europa’s director of alliances, said the deal would “provide our passengers with more and better flight options with the numerous benefits and advantages of codeshare flying”.
