American Airlines and Delta Air Lines are both competing for Sioux City’s business. Currently Delta offers two flights a day to Minneapolis but American Airlines says it will offer two flights a day to Chicago. AA has placed an essential air service bid of $1.5 million, while Delta Airlines bids is $1.3 million.
