Boeing has stated that the train carrying 737 fuselages that derailed last week, was also carrying components for the 777 and 747. Boeing reported that the components were “undamaged” after an inspection took place. Three of the 737 fuselages involved in the accident slid down an embankment into a river. The recovery process is ongoing. Lawrence Wilson, Boeing spokesman for supplier management, said: “Once we determine the extent of damage to the fuselages we will assess what, if any, impact there will be to production.”
