Citi moves Roderick Peek to South Africa

Citi recently announced the appointment of Roderick Peek as Africa Head for Aviation and Senior Relationship Banker for South African multinational corporates. He has moved to Johannesburg in September to take up his new role.

Roderick joined Citi Amsterdam as a Management Associate in 2001 and relocated to London in 2003 where he assumed various responsibilities across Risk and the Corporate Bank. Since 2008, he has been an Industry Banker covering EMEA Aviation clients.

Munawar Noorani, Citi’s EMEA Regional Head for Aviation says: “ As the African aviation market grows, new opportunities are arising. In order to capitalize on them more effectively, we have asked Roderick to focus on our African Aviation clients.” In his new role, Roderick will also be responsible for coverage of major South African parented corporate clients in the telecoms, retailers and industrials sectors.
