Strong Q4 for PEMCO

Tampa Bay-based aviation MRO and cargo conversion specialist PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) delivered a strong fourth quarter for 2012, and has added multiple contracts in the first quarter of 2013 to further fortify its position as an industry leader.

PEMCO has expanded its US and international business in the past two quarters, winning major new MRO and cargo modification programs which have substantially added to the company’s backlog.

Its current MRO and conversion activity includes heavy maintenance and related mod lines from North American air carrier. There are six passenger-to-cargo mod lines running currently – two at PEMCO/Tampa; three at HAECO’s STAECO/Jinan base; and one at HAECO’s TAECO/Xiamen base. PEMCO says that it is close to its 100th Boeing 737-300/400 milestone and conversion orders are at historic levels.
