HK Express targets secondary city destinations

HK Express intends to fly to leisure or secondary cities to match with sister airline Hong Kong Airlines’ destinations including Beijing and Shanghai. speaking at the CAPA – Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2014 Simon Gu, the carrier’s general manager finance & legal, said that HK Express’ network will focus on destinations such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, Kota Kinabalu; and some secondary cities in mainland China that Hong Kong Airlines cannot profitably serve.
