It has emerged that Air Zimbabwe only began domestic flights two months ago so that President Robert Mugabe could use the airline’s aircraft to connect his Singapore flight in Johannesburg. All domestic services to Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls have been cancelled this week after one of its Boeing 737 aircraft has been grounded to undergo a C-check.
