United Airlines integrates Apple's AirTag into its mobile app

United Airlines integrates Apple's AirTag into its mobile app

United Airlines has integrated Apple's share item location feature for AirTag into its mobile app. The feature is expected to improve baggage location for customers. 

The feature on the newest iOS update allows AirTag users to share the accessory's location with United to help location the luggage in the event that it is mishandled. 

“Apple's new share item location feature will help customers travel with even more confidence, knowing they have another way to access to their bag's precise location with AirTag or ‘Find My’ accessory of choice,” said United chief customer officer David Kinzelman.
