BayernLB has promoted Viktor Berta to senior director asset finance, aviation & space, Berta said on a LinkedIn post on April 1, 2025.
“I'll continue to support our lessor, airline and investor clients with tailored asset-backed lending solutions,” said Berta.
Speaking to Airline Economics, Berta said since his joining, the bank’s aviation & space desk has successfully diversified into structured lending products such as aircraft portfolio term loans, warehouses and engine facilities.
Berta said his focus lies on asset-backed solutions, utilising his skills as an ISTAT certified appraiser.
He has also served as executive committee member of the Aviation Club of the UK since 2023.
