Uzbekistan Airways has signed a lease agreement China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) for two A321neo aircraft. The jets are scheduled to be delivered in 2026 as part of the lessor's direct order with Airbus.
“The arrival of the new A321neo aircraft is not just fleet expansion — it's a significant step toward building a modern, competitive, and convenient air transportation system," said Uzbekistan Airways chairman of the board Shukhrat Khudaykulov.
“This follow-on agreement reflects CALC's commitment to delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving fleet and growth requirements of our airline partners,” said CALC president and chief commercial officer Winnie Liu. “We look forward to supporting Uzbekistan Airways as it continues to expand and modernise its operations.”
The agreement develops the partnership established between the two companies in 2023.
