UK Aviation saw its busiest year on record, with 302 million passengers moving through UK airports in 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority said today (February 24).
The movements mark a significant increase on the 295 million passengers in 2024.
“While the sector grows from strength to strength, we continue working with aviation partners to drive even higher safety standards and protect passengers when they fly,” said UK Civil Aviation Authority group director for consumers and markets Selina Chadha.
Flight delays continued to drop during the year, with 73% of flights operating on-time — up six percentage points on 2024.
