TransNusa has launched a new direct route between Jakarta and Lombok as part of efforts to expand its domestic network.
The airline will operate 14 flights per week on the route, with two daily services between Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and Lombok International Airport. The inaugural flight is scheduled for April 17, 2026, with ticket sales having opened on March 16.
TransNusa said the new service is aimed at strengthening connectivity to Lombok, a key tourism destination in Indonesia that attracts more than 1.2m visitors annually.
Alongside the new route, the airline has also increased the frequency of its Jakarta-Yogyakarta service, adding an additional daily flight to enhance domestic connectivity.
The expansion comes as TransNusa continues to grow its domestic and regional network, with a focus on increasing capacity on key leisure and travel routes.
The airline operates Airbus A320 aircraft on its services and has been expanding its route network since launching operations in 2022.
