Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) that the group secured about S$4.7bn ($3.7bn) worth of new contracts in the second quarter of 2025. These comprised S$1.5bn ($867.8 million) from commercial aerospace segment, S$1.5bn from defence & public and S$1.7bn ($983.5 million) from urban solutions & satcom segment.
The new commercial contracts included a 737NG component services agreement with a southeast Asian airline, two CFM56-7B engine heavy maintenance agreements with north Asian airlines, a CFM56-5B/7B MRO offload agreement with a major engine OEM and a five year LEAP-1A engine MRO agreement with Air Cairo, the company said.
ST Engineering also secured several passenger-to-freighter (P2F) orders including a multi-aircraft A330P2F order from Confity Capital Partners. The company said demand nacelles and composite floor panels “remained steady” and was supported by the increase in new aircraft production.
