Spirit Airlines CEO Dave Davis sent a memo to staff warning of more job cuts and capacity reductions, according to a CNBC report on September 17, 2025.
These cost reduction initiatives follow it filing its second bankruptcy in under a year.
The report said the staff memo, seen by CNBC, detailed that the airline would have reduce its capacity by a quarter for its upcoming November schedule.
