Saudi Arabia’s flynas launches new direct services to Moscow, Damascus, Nairobi

Saudi Arabia's low-cost carrier flynas has announced the launch of three new direct services to Moscow, Damascus, and Nairobi respectively.

On December 23, flynas will begin operating a direct, three times weekly service from Jeddah to Moscow.

The introduction of the Moscow-Jeddah service is the result of a new partnership between the airline, the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Saudi Air Connectivity Program (APC).

flynas, which in August launched the first direct service between Riyadh and Moscow by a Saudi airline, said it plans to add more routes connecting Saudi Arabia and Russia in the near future.

On October 3, flynas began operating a direct, three times weekly service from Dammam to Damascus.

The low-cost carrier already offers 14 weekly flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the Syrian capital.

Finally, on October 2, flynas began operating a direct, three times weekly service from Riyadh to Nairobi, capital of Kenya.

Following the addition of Nairobi, flynas now flies to four destinations in Africa.

Its existing destinations in Africa are Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia; Entebbe, close to the Ugandan capital Kampala; and Djibouti, the small coastal nation located between Ethiopia, Somalia, and Eritrea.
